Welcome, one and all, to the Library of Unusual Strangeness! My name is Squidchester H. P. Eldritch the Third, and I will be your host on a most wondrous journey.

In this library, you will encounter bite-sized tales meant to entertain, delight, horrify and amaze. Stories of the mundane and the magical, of joy and terror, of love, lust and bitter hate. Precious moments and entire lifetimes will dance before your eyes.

So step into The Reading Room and find yourself a chair – no, not that one in the corner. It’s not very friendly. But grab any other chair and make yourself comfortable while I spin you a yarn.

  10. I’m not sure if I’ve read the correct entry. I read ‘The Return’, which was a chilling tale of love, of the ‘forever’ variety. Was that the entry for the WEP challenge?
