A downbeat sequel to The Factory.
The Dream King walked around the empty factory. Not even the dust acknowledged his presence any longer.
Machines that had once been in constant motion lay still. The laughter that had once filled the sprawling rooms had stopped long ago.
He looked mournfully around the desolate landscape, its bright colors faded to a dull gray. He was the king of a dead kingdom, searching for a familiar face, or a sound of laughter. But only silence greeted his calls. Even the echoes had abandoned this place.
What had happened to the realm of dreams?
Where had all the dreamers gone?
