Shell Seller’s Story

She sells sea shells by the seashore.

But the shells that she sells are not sea shells.

She seduces sad souls and siphons their sorrows,

Shriveling their sorry selves into shrunken shells.

She seizes them, shaping them into sandy silhouettes,

Those are the sea shells she sells by the seashore.
